Shipshewana: Yoder’s Red Barn Anniversary

My Amish murder mysteries series debuts in the fall, and you all know that I am excited about that! I had the good fortune of being able to take a trip to the lovely town of Shipshewana, Indiana last summer. It’s a great place, filled with warm, friendly people. I thought it might be fun to highlight some of the happenings in Shipshe on my blog every now and then–since we’re going to be spending a lot of time there (bookwise).

This weekend, Yoder’s Red Barn is having their anniversary celebration. Sound like just another sale? Not quite.

The two days will be filled with food, games, fun, and great deals. The 1st Annual Corn Hole Tournament will be held on Saturday, April 2 beginning at 11:00 AM. There will be divisions for men, women, and children (14 & under). There will be prizes for the top three teams in each division. All participants will receive a free gift.

Can anyone tell me what a Corn Hole Tournament is? Didn’t have a chance to see that while I was in Shipshe. I did go by Yoder’s though, and it’s a great place. Wouldn’t mind going back . . .
