Research: Wisconsin Amish
With the beginning of summer, I start work on my Amish romance series. 
Book 1 is tentatively titled, Plain School at Pebble Creek and it’s set in Wisconsin. The only problem is that I haven’tseen much of Wisconsin. So Monday morning I’ll head to Ft. Hood regional airport and hop a plane.
I strongly believe in traipsing around the places I write about. Last year I visited Shipshewana for a week, and it definitely helped me to write about the town with some first-hand knowledge. In fact, I’ll be in Shipshe again later this month. I can’t wait to re-connect with friends.
Now I’m wondering, what will I find in Wisconsin? Will the Amish folk there be the same or different? And what will surprise me about the towns?
