New Release – An Amish Garden

I’m so excited to share my newest release with you. An Amish Garden is arriving at your local store this week, and it will officially ship from Amazon, B&N, and CBD on Tuesday, March 18th.

This was my first novella collection to participate in, and I enjoyed it very much. What an honor to join Beth Wiseman, Kathleen Fuller, and Tricia Goyer! Our assignment was to write a story that was centered on Amish gardens. We don’t have the same characters. We didn’t share a certain setting. But we all wrote stories about this cornerstone of Amish life–the family garden.

I chose to return to Shipshewana, Indiana for my story. Yes, I’ve been there. And yes, I love their gardens! My story, Where Healing Blooms, is about an older woman–Emma Hochstetter. A recent widow, Emma is satisfied with her life. She cares for her mother. She does her best to keep the farm going. She dotes on her grandchildren, and of course she works in the garden. Some days she feels as if the best part of her life is behind her. But God isn’t done with Emma. He has plans for her, and they stretch beyond what she could possibly imagine.
