Releases in 2022

Today I thought I’d share with you what books I have releasing in 2022. I’ve also noted below whether they are new releases or reprints.

The Amish Twins Next Door releases on 4-26-22 and should be available everywhere Harlequin/Love Inspired books are sold. This is a new release and is the last title in my Indiana Amish Brides series. All titles are standalone reads that share the same location (northern Indiana), but have different sets of characters. Learn more at Amazon by clicking here, and on the Harlequin page which will connect you with all other retailers.

A Chance to Heal is a 2-in-1 release that will be available in print or ebook. This includes a reprint of my book, The Baby Next Door. It will be available in stores and on-line 6-28-22. Learn more at Amazon by clicking here, and on the Harlequin page which will connect you with all other retailers.

A Path to Forgiveness is another 2-in-1 release that will be available in print or ebook. This includes a reprint of my book, A Widow’s Hope. It will be available in stores and on-line 8-23-22. Learn more at Amazon by clicking here, and on the Harlequin page which will connect you with all other retailers.

Amish Market Series, book 1. This is a new series that I’m super excited to share with you. I don’t have a title or a cover yet, but I can tell you that it’s the story of one family–5 sisters and a dad. There are 6 books in the series, which means there will be 6 weddings! And of course, all the stories take place at the Amish Market in Shipshewana, Indiana. Book 1 will be a fall/Christmas 2022 release.

My agent is hard at work submitting and hopefully selling a new suspense series, so I hope to have news soon. When I do, you can be sure I’ll share it here as well as on my social media pages.

Happy reading, friends! I’d love for you to comment below with what books you’re looking forward to reading in 2022, and don’t limit it to mine…this is a great place to mention other authors as well.

  1. I can’t wait for more word on your suspense series!!! I always look forward to new books from my author faves….I have so many favorites my poor budget can’t keep up! But it’s a good problem to have. One must-have is always the newest from Jane Kilpatrick, but there are so many more.

  2. Thanks for the update, Vannetta. I’m looking forward to reading The Amish Twins Next Door.
I’ll be looking forward to the Amish Market series, too.

  3. I like to read many authors. Waiting to read Beverly Lewis, Linda Castillo, Elin Hildebrand, Susan Wiggs, Susan Mallery, and your latest. Best wishes with your new suspense series.

  4. Hello Vannetta, I am looking forward to your Market series books. I also wanted to ask as I am getting older my eyes are getting older too anyway to you have any if your books written with Large Print? If not I hope some come soon. 😊 Thanks for the good reads!

  5. The new Amish series sounds good! I am also looking forward to reading the second book for Laura Blount. I also enjoy Shelley Shepherd Gray, Amanda Flower, Colleen Coble, Amy Clipston, Karen Kingsbury. I enjoy reading everyday! Thank you for this opportunity. I enjoy your books!

  6. You have some great sounding books coming out. I am trying to catch up on books on my Kindle and read some new books. I always like it when a new printing shows if it is a reprint or new release so that I don’t invest in a book that I have read. Thanks for that.

  7. I am looking forward to reading all of them, I would especially like to read the Amish Market series – I love weddings and sounds like some of the series the weddings will be between widows and widowers having that second chance to share life with someone else. Also would like to read A chance to heal and a Path for forgiveness. these should be applicable to our lives we all need healing of some kind of healing to be able to forgive and to receive forgiveness. I read other books by Amy Clipson, Wanda Brandstater, Francine Rivers – love the book Redeeming Love and the movie, Tesa Afshar. Liz Tolsma, Jill Eileen Smith, Biblical fiction, mystery and historical Chirstian, Karen Kingsbury, and many others. The authors and the characters in the books become my friends. Thanks for who you are in the Lord and for being my friend.

  8. It all sounds great. Good luck on finding a publisher for your mystery/suspense series. I love mysteries so I am looking forward to reading those.
6 weddings sounds like a nice series. Can’wait! Thanks.

  9. Why do authors use the term “padded” in place of “walk or walking?” Seems out of place to me. Does padding require a different type of walking? Inquiring minds want to know. I also taught junior high English plus 1.5 years at a business college. Concluded that junior high students are a sub category of homo sapiens. Love your Amish books.

  10. Oooh, Amish Market Series! I’ll admit I like long series… most of the time. When a certain Christian author wrote a 5 book series with a 4 book series spin-off on repeat, I finally stopped reading around book 20 or 25. I know more came after those, but in my mind they were the lesser characters.

I’m currently enjoying the Amish Country Brides series by Jennifer Spredemann. They’re definitely different than the normal boy meets girl novels. Today I was ready to finish out the series so I bought the last book and discovered it was only book 3 of 9. It looks like I have more adventures ahead. Book 2 was definitely something I have never read in another book before.

  11. So many books coming out all the time! It’s a reader’s quandary for sure.

Honestly, my goal for this year is to read as many physical books on my shelf as I can. There are WAY too many that have languished there for far too long 🙂 Authors include, Deborah Raney, Becky Wade, Mary Connealy, Tamera Alexander, Jan Drexler, Tracie Peterson & Kimberley Woodhouse, Susan May Warren, Terri Blackstock, and a massive variety of Love Inspired books (all lines). That’s just to name a small handful of authors & books!

  12. I have so many books on my To Be Read list already, I don’t know where to start! I LOVE Amish fiction/romance, and historical romance also.

Also like the news about your new books, Amish Market Series (6 weddings!!) and will be ordering Amish Twins Next Door from Amazon. I also follow Wanda Brunstetter and have many of her books in my possession.

  42. I’m curious about the book about twins. I am a surviving twin of what should have been a multiple birth. Plus, with the book set in Indiana, I will probably recognize the place names as I lived in Fort Wayne Indiana for most of my growing up years.
