USA Today and Publishers Weekly bestselling author Vannetta Chapman writes in a variety of genres for several different publishers. She writes Amish and inspirational romances for Harlequin/Love Inspired, Harper Collins Christian Publishing, Harvest House Publishers, and Abingdon Press. She also writes cozy mysteries and dystopian fiction. With over one million copies sold, she has won the Carol Award and has been a Christy Award and Carol Award finalist. She is represented by Nicole Resciniti of the Seymour Agency.

Vannetta has taught writing at conferences, bookclubs, writing groups, and at the collegiate level. She speaks on a variety of topics at community clubs, writing groups, quilting clubs, and reader events.

Before pursuing a writing career, Vannetta earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in English. For fifteen years, she taught at both the middle school, high school, and collegiate level. She lives in Texas where she and her husband enjoy hiking and camping. She is actively involved in her community and local church, and she writes full time.
