DSCN8173Mid-week Inspiration: May Thoughts

Don’t we just love turning the calendar page? In Texas, even when drought has stolen our flowers, we still see the redbird. Isn’t this one lovely? I thought I’d share with you some May thoughts today.

It’s spring fever.  That is what the name of it is.  And when you’ve got it, you want – oh, you don’t quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!  ~Mark Twain

I love spring anywhere, but if I could choose I would always greet it in a garden.  ~Ruth Stout

No matter how long the winter, spring is sure to follow.  ~Proverb

April is a promise that May is bound to keep.  ~Hal Borland

You can find more May sayings at this site. I pray that you have a lovely month, and that spring arrives with pleasant temperatures and sweet flowers.

I love spring and I love May. (Hubby’s birthday month!) I love hearing the frogs croak and the birds sing. Watching the beautiful finches at my feeders makes for a happy day! Thanks for sharing your photo of the redbird, looking so beautiful. I pray that May is a wonderful month for you too Vannetta.

I pray your drought ends soon. We’ve had drought the last two summer’s so I understand how it feels. I love spring and the flowers of spring. The red bird creates beauty in barren lands. So pretty.

Yes, Vannetta, I love spring (and May) but have to say, “Where did April go?”

I love redbirds, too…a harbinger of spring.

I love Springtime too. Especially all the flowers coming out and blooming, with all so many colors. Watching the hummingbirds feed, and blue jays feed, and other mixtures of birds feed on our feeder. Hope you have a wonderful May. Thank you for sharing your gift of writing with us.
