Research for A Wedding for Julia, Additional Reading

Today I thought I’d share some of my research sites that I used while writing A Wedding for Julia. If you’d like to know more about these things, simply click on the links.

Building a Footbridge, which Caleb did with some help.

Amish funerals, as portrayed in the opening scene.

Plants found in Julia’s garden and along Pebble Creek.

Scripture regarding Isaac and Rebekah.

Amish barn raising, which takes place during Julia’s story.

Actual weather events in southern Wisconsin.

Happy reading!

p.s. – our winner from last Saturday’s blog was Martha Franks. Thank you all for entering! We’ll have another later this month.
