Mid-week Inspiration, Back from the Brink

While we were in Caprock Canyon last week, we had the pleasure of seeing the bison herd. What amazing animals. It reminds me of the beautiful words found in Job 38. If you ever need assurance of God’s sovereignty, turn to those pages. “Do you know when the mountain goats give birth? Do you watch when the doe bears her fawn? Do you count the months till they bear? Do you know the time they give birth?” God does. Aren’t we thankful that he does all of this and more.

I hope you enjoy the following pictures.

Blessings,

I just seen a small herd of these the other day down by Pawnee city, NE. Had a couple young ones in the herd.

Love the photos! I am fascinated with Bison. When we visited South Dakota a few years back, we were able to see them up close. We have a Buffalo farm not too far from where I live that my hubby and I would like to take our grandchildren to see this summer. They have guided tours. Should be interesting!

    Blessings!

Love looking at the bison. I would love one day to see a great herd of them. We have a few people near us who raise some bison. They are small herds. Thank you for the pictures.

I enjoyed your pictures and post so much! Bison have always fascinated me. Any time I see a nature program on TV about bison, I watch. We have a small bison farm about 20 -30 miles from where I live in Indiana, and I always love to see them as I drive by.

One of my favorite things to do when my kids were small was going out to the Veterans Home in Quincy ILL. They have what they call deer park. We would often be there just as a new one was being born or just shortly after and it was a beautiful sight. That park also had peacocks and Buffalo on the other side of it. Still miss living near it.
