Plain and Simple, Holiday Season

I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving. We have much to be thankful for

around my house, and each morning I am reminded of God’s provision.

One of the things most of us enjoy about Amish books is they remind us we can still live plainly and simply in our fast-paced world. The Amish do celebrate Christmas and Thanksgiving, but they do so in a scaled down way.

For the 4 Saturdays in December, I will be giving Amish Holiday Tips and also a give away with a book and something special. I hope you’ll check back next Saturday. Until then, I wanted to let you know that you can now purchase my books on my webpage through Paypal. I will autograph the books to you, and then I’ll ship them out the next day. I’m meeting Amazon’s price of $9.98 and I’m including a free 2013 Amish calendar for the first 100 orders. Also, if you’d like to order a set of books, just email me at VannettaChapman@gmail.com and I’ll send you an invoice. If you have any problems with the paypal process, please shoot me an email as well.

Have a wonderful week, and I pray that your holidays are filled with family, friends, and God’s abiding love.

Blessings,

V

I’m really looking forward to these tips. Also the special pricing on your books sound wonderful. We keep things real simple year round at our home. We’ve always been that way, but it’s gotten even simpler since we’re both disabled and I’m homebound. Our Christmas decoration is a Christmas cross with white lights. My husband made this from a discarded fake tree and we hang it on the wall. Often it stays there for several months. Praying for a wonderful and blessed Christmas season for you. Again, I really do enjoy and treasure your friendship so much. Blessings, Susan Fryman
